[origin: CN102009536A] The present invention relates to a method for generating a printing (visible or functional, such as conductive) characteristic on a substrate of a printed product, wherein, the method involves producing a layer (4) by applying a first medium (5) e.g. adhesive and gloss varnish in a first step (A), and treating surfaces (6) of the first layer (4) segmentally at least in a second step (B) such that another layer (7) is produced by applying a second medium (8) e.g. foil transfer layer on the adhesive, or a surface structure (9) is generated through structuring the first medium (5) and stamping into the gloss varnish. The invention is characterized in that the surface (6) of the first layer (4) is pretreated in a middle step (ZS) with a mode that the information based on the printing characteristic (1) e.g. appearance of a conductor circuit structure or anti-counterfeiting random pattern, is transmitted to the first medium (5) purposely.
