Abstract (en)
A toilet bowl (2) is supplied with water as a flushing stream to flush out the contents of the bowl and to clean the bowl surface (24). During a flushing operation, nozzle rings (9,10) in a flushing arrangement use water to clean the bowl surface in a transition region from the bowl to a siphon (6). The cleaning power of the water is directed specifically at the transition region. An independent claim is included for a water closet.

Das Wasserklosett weist eine Klosettschüssel (2) und eine Spülvorrichtung auf, mit welcher mit einem Spülvorgang der Klosettschüssel (2) Wasser als Spülstrom zum Ausspülen des Spülgutes und zur Reinigung der Schüsseloberfläche (24) zugeführt wird. Die Spülvorrichtung besitzt Mittel (9), welche bei einem Spülvorgang die Schüsseloberfläche (24) in einem Übergangsbereich (B) von der Schüssel (5) zum Siphon (6) mit Wasser reinigt, dessen Reinigungskraft gezielt auf diesen Übergansbereich (B) gerichtet ist.
