Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009153525A2] The articulation system comprises a first component (6) secured to a driven tool (2) and able to pivot about a horizontal axis and a second component (7) secured to a manual member (3) articulated to the first component about an axis orthogonal to the first. According to the invention, at least the second component (7) is formed of a flexible structure with a longitudinal neutral axis comprising a base (8) fixed to the first component (6) of the tool, a head (9) fixed to the member (3); said base and head being connected by a pair of opposing ribs (12) parallel to the neutral axis and running in a plane transverse to the horizontal axis, it being possible for said pair (12) to be flexed under the effect of a force applied orthogonally to its plane and transmitted by the manual member (3). The invention applies to the field of household electrical appliances.
