[origin: WO2010012350A1] A cigarette package designed as a box with a lid comprises an outer package (10) having a box part (11) and lid (12) and an inner package (38) made from a separate cutout. Part of the inner package is a spring tab (40) that is attached to the inside of the lid (12) by means of a free edge strip (59). A collar (48) is composed of a separate cutout which is connected to the inner package (38) by means of gluing. Alternatively, the collar may be part of the inner package and the spring tab can be designed as a separate cutout.
