[origin: WO2010015308A1] An installation switch device (1), particularly a circuit breaker, ground fault circuit interrupter, motor overload switch and the like, comprising a housing (3) having a front side, a fastening side (6), narrow sides and broad sides, and comprising a screwless clamped connection (10) having a clamping spring (12) for connecting terminal leads (14) that are fixed in position in a clamped connection chamber (18) of the housing (3), wherein the clamped connection chamber (18) is delimited on the side by the housing broad sides (9), and wherein the opening (20) of the clamped connection chamber (18) can be covered by a clamp cover part (22) that is pivotally connected to the housing (3), said part having a number of connecting openings (26) corresponding to the number of terminal leads (14) to be connected. When displaced in the direction of the interior of the housing, said part can act on the clamping spring (12) so as to open it. The clamp cover part (22) comprises a spacer (28), delimiting the pivot path of the clamp cover part (22) in the direction of the clamping spring (12) in a detent position, and releasing the displacement path in a release position for opening the clamping spring (12).
