Abstract (en)

The piston pump (18) has an inlet port (20), outlet connection (22), operating device (30) and a pressure sensor fixed on a pump housing (34) and arranged in a region of sectional side surfaces. The pump housing includes a polygonal cross-sectional form (39) with the sectional side surfaces and is manufactured from stainless steel and standard multi-sided profile. The inlet port and the outlet connection include a fluid adapter, and the operating device and the pressure sensor include electrical adaptors that are arranged opposite to each other.

Eine Hochdruck-Kraftstoffkolbenpumpe (18) umfasst ein Pumpengehäuse (34) sowie mehrere seitlich an dem Pumpengehäuse (34) angebrachte Komponenten (20, 22, 30). Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Pumpengehäuse (34) eine mehreckige Querschnittsform (39) mit wenigstens abschnittsweise geraden Seitenflächen (40a bis 40f) aufweist, dass mindestens eine Komponente (20, 22, 30) im Bereich einer Seitenfläche (40a, 40c, 40e) angeordnet ist, und dass solche Komponenten (20, 22), welche einen Fluidanschluss aufweisen, und solche Komponenten (30; 60), welche einen elektrischen Anschluss (62, 64) aufweisen, einander wenigstens in etwa gegenüberliegen.
