Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2312705A1] The connector (10) has intermateable connector parts (12, 14) coupled with each other by a slider (16) in a mounted condition of the connector. Cams (18) are resiliently arranged at a base body (14') of one of the connector parts. The slider includes tapered inlets (24) for the cams. The cams travel on the inlets against resilient force by the slider during mounting the connector by connecting the connector parts before the cams are engaged in openings (20) of the slider by the resilient force. The housing of the other connector part includes a gripping strip (26) for a robot hand. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an electrical plug connector.
