[origin: WO2010017874A1] The invention relates to a movement for a timepiece with automatic winding that includes a frame (4, 5) bearing a mechanical power source (1), an oscillating weight (8) rotating relative to the frame about a first rotation axis (X1) and a reduction gear train (14, 15, 18, 20) arranged to recharge the mechanical power source from the movements of said oscillating weight. The movement is characterised in that the reduction gear train comprises at least a first wheel (14) arranged on the oscillating weight so as to rotate freely relative to the latter about a second rotation axis (X2) substantially parallel to the first rotation axis (X1). Preferably, the reduction gear train (14, 15, 18, 20) comprises a second wheel (15) coaxial with the first wheel (14) and rotatingly connected thereto, the first wheel being engaged with a fixed wheel (18) secured to the frame (4) while the second wheel is kinematically linked with a third wheel (20) of the reduction gear train, the rotation of which charges the mechanical power source (1).
