Abstract (en)
The device has a pressure container (14) i.e. irritant cartridge, for storing an irritant, and a spray head (18) arranged on the container for dispensing the irritant by pressing of the spray head. The spray head comprises a display device (34) that has a rod shaped disk element (60) and a material section (73). The disk element is movable from a position to another position with a pressing of the spray head (18) by supporting at the container. The material section is held by a thin material bridge, which is permanently deformed into the latter position during movement of the disk element.

Reizstoff-Sprühgerät (10), mit einem Druckbehälter (14) zum Speichern eines Reizstoffes und einem auf dem Druckbehälter angeordneten Sprühkopf (18) zum Abgeben des Reizstoffs durch Niederdrücken des Sprühkopfes (18), wobei der Sprühkopf (18) eine Anzeigeeinrichtung (34) aufweist oder mit einer solchen wirkverbunden ist, welche ein Schiebeelement (60) und einen Materialabschnitt (73) umfasst, wobei das Schiebeelement (60) bei einem ersten Niederdrücken des Sprühkopfes (18) durch Abstützen am Druckbehälter (14) von einer ersten in eine zweite Stellung bewegbar ist, und wobei der Materialabschnitt (73) durch eine dünne Materialbrücke (72) gehalten ist, welche beim Bewegen des Schiebeelements (60) in die zweite Stellung mindestens bereichsweise zerstört wird.
