[origin: WO2009124520A1] The present invention relates to a machine (1) for producing uniaxial reinforcing steel mesh, comprising a mesh forming unit (2), at least one reinforcing steel rod supply magazine (3), and at least one reinforcing steel rod infeed (4) disposed laterally from the mesh forming unit (2), wherein the mesh forming unit (2) is suited to connect reinforcing steel rods (5) to at least one support strip (6). In order to provide a particularly fast manufacturing process, the invention proposes to provide a first reinforcing steel rod intermediate storage (7) in the mesh forming unit (2), wherein the reinforcing steel rod intermediate storage (7) has at least two storage positions (8) for the intermediate storage of reinforcing steel rods (5).
