[origin: WO2010012682A1] A steam iron soleplate device (2) and a steam iron device, in particular a steam iron or steam ironing station, comprising: an iron soleplate (4) with steam outlet openings (6); a steam generating system and a main evaporation chamber (8), into which evaporation liquid can be introduced at a predetermined first location (S1), and which (8) is in connection with the steam outlet openings (6); a steam pulsing system and a secondary evaporation chamber (12), in which the evaporation liquid can be introduced at a predetermined second location (S2), which is different from the first location (S1); a heating device (14) for heating up the iron soleplate (4) and/or the main evaporation chamber (8) and/or the secondary evaporation chamber (12); and a temperature sensor fastening portion (16) and a temperature sensor for sensing a temperature of the iron soleplate (4) and/or the heating device (14); wherein the secondary evaporation chamber (12) has a steam pulsing conduit (22), which extends at least from the secondary evaporation chamber (22) to the temperature sensor fastening portion (16) or the temperature sensor.
