[origin: WO2010022719A1] The invention relates to an arrangement for defining a zero position for a sensor which serves for measuring deflection movements of parts (10, 11) of a technical system which are connected to one another by a ball joint (1, 2, 3). The arrangement is composed of a joint housing (1), which is rigidly connected to a first part (10) of the system, of the ball joint (1, 2, 3), a ball pin (2, 3) which is rigidly connected to a second part (11) of the system, and a sensor (8, 9) which measures the deflection movements of the joint pin (2, 3) and which has at least two mutually complementary sensor elements, of which one is arranged on the joint pin (2, 3) and one is arranged on a part (10) of the system which is immovable relative to the joint housing (1). The lateral surface, which otherwise has a circular cross section, of the ball pin (2, 3) is flattened in an axial region (6) which is placed into positively locking engagement with a correspondingly formed inner contour of a mounting lug (5), through which the ball pin (2, 3) extends for the purpose of fastening the latter, or of a disc-shaped element (7), wherein in the latter case, the disc-shaped element (7) bears against the mounting lug (5) and is in turn fixed in the circumferential direction by means of positively locking engagement of the outer contour thereof with the part (11) which is connected to the ball pin (2, 3).
