Abstract (en)
A slide assembly with a security device (16) includes a first slide member (12), a second slide member (14), first and second stop members (44, 46) and an elastic member (48). The first slide member (12) has a guiding passage (30). The first and second stop members (44, 46) are located on the first slide member (12). The first and second stop members (44, 46) include engaging portions (56, 60) and stop portions (58, 62). The engaging portions (56, 60) and the stop portions (58, 62) of the first and second stop members (44, 46) are in the guiding passage (30). The elastic member (48) is connected to the first and second stop members (44, 46). The stop portions (58, 62) contact against first and second stop walls (76, 86). The first and second stop members (44, 46) are moved from the guiding passage (30) when the second slide member (14) is inserted in the first slide member (12) via the guiding passage (30), so that the second slide member (14) may be connected to the first slide member (12) correctly.
