[origin: EP1726749A2] A lock system has a cylinder core with a key that is inserted in a keyhole where it comes into contact with sliding pins. The key has a groove with a control ramp that raised the pins on insertion of the key. The pins have symmetrical conical tips (22) making contact with the moving key.
