Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2317290A2] The method involves detecting impedance of a temperature sensor (2) i.e. temperature-dependent resistance wire, that is partially extended in a level (h) of a reservoir (1), where the wire is embedded in a capacitor. The temperature sensor is arranged at a wall of the reservoir and present in direct or indirect contact with a medium (M). Temperature of the medium is assigned to the level of the reservoir depending on the impedance of the sensor, such that a temperature profile of the medium over the level is detected. An independent claim is also included for a control unit of a hot water supply device, comprising a reservoir.
