Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2317408A1] The timepiece (1) has a retraction unit for engaging with a display unit formed of index (4a) and flaps (9a, 9b) of function i.e. monthly calendar, and a bottom (5), so that the display unit and the bottom occupy one of two positions. The display unit is visible in an opening (3) in the position, and not visible in another position. The bottom occupies the opening and provides an aspect to the timepiece. A driving mechanism drives the index when the display unit occupies the position and continuously drives the index when the display unit occupies another position.
