[origin: WO2009146454A1] The invention relates to a recyclable, waterproof and heatable foodstuff container having a structural layer made of paper, paperboard, corrugated paper, bag stock, ream wrap, roll wrap, folding board, solid fiber, or combinations thereof, the structural layer is coated with a polyacrylate. The polyacrylate is preferably derived from a component selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, isobutyl acrylate, 2 -ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, isobutyl methacrylate, 2 -ethyl methacrylate, and combinations thereof.
