Abstract (en)
The shelf base has an audio amplifier (2), a high-range speaker (3), and a base body (1) made from wood, plastic, stone or metal. A long side surface (11) forms a front side of the base, and another long side surface (12) forms a rear side of the base in a mounting position. Recesses are provided in a lower surface of the base for accommodating a mid or low-range loudspeaker. An interface (7) e.g. ipod(RTM: portable media player)-dock and universal serial bus-interface, is provided for an electronic device i.e. audio device.

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Regalboden, der sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass der Regalboden mit einem Audioverstärker 2 und mindestens einem Lautsprecher (3, 4) ausgestattet ist. Hierdurch kann eine Wohnraumintegration als Regalboard und multimedialer Einsatz für Tonwiedergabe, Bildausgabe und Computeranbindung, sowie ein hochwertiges Musikerlebnis und funktionale Anwendung mit einem Gerät stattfinden.
