Abstract (en)

A device for spreading adhesive films on media (11) having an irregular surface, such as wood boards and the like, which comprises - a heated dosage roller (12), which during use rotates axially at a first peripheral speed, - a heated distribution roller (13), which rotates in the opposite direction with respect to the dosage roller (12) at a second peripheral speed, which is substantially higher than the first peripheral speed, - a rotating spreading roller (14), which is covered at least in one active portion (15) thereof by an elastically flexible sheath (16), which is adapted to conform to the irregularities of the medium (11) onto which the adhesive film (17) is to be spread, the spreading roller (14) further rotating in the same direction as the distribution roller (13), so as to bring the sheath (16) to a third peripheral speed that is substantially equal to the second peripheral speed.
