[origin: EP2319636A1] The press drive arrangement (7) has a press drive and a pressurizing element (19), by which tool mounting plate (8) is subjectable with a pressing force made available by the press drive. The tool mounting plate during application is subjectable with an auxiliary pressing force by the pressurizing element. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating press drive arrangement.
