[origin: WO2010020464A1] The invention relates to a device for supplying an internal combustion engine with fuel, comprising a fuel reservoir (1) and a high-pressure pump (2), which are connected through a suction line (3), a metering valve (4) which effects a change of the passage cross-section of the suction line (3), a rail (5) for receiving high-pressure fuel, and a pressure control valve (6) for controlling the pressure in the rail (4). The metering valve (4) and the pressure control valve (6) are combined in a common housing (7) and have opposite opening directions. The metering valve (4) and the pressure control valve (6) have closing members (4.1, 6.1) which are rigidly connected to each other and are movable on a coincident movement axis (14).
