Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2322255A1] The device has an elongated brake (24) occupying a braking position i.e. lowered position, in which the brake strikes the floor, and a non-braking position i.e. raised position. A control unit controls a position of the brake. The control unit has a latch (20) provided with a connection unit i.e. connection axle (22), for connecting the control unit with a rear strap (15) of a sports shoe fixation device, such that the control unit induces automatic positioning of the brake in non-braking position during closing and/or locking of the strap on the shoe. An independent claim is also included for a device for fixing a sports shoe on a sliding board, comprising a braking device.
