Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2322330A1] The method involves moving a braking element (15) of a braking device in the feed direction behind a cutting plane of a cutting element (7) into a transport cross section before the complete separation of a disk (3) from the remaining commodity strand (2). A cropped disk is broken after its complete separation from the remaining commodity strand in the movement by the braking element. The movement is adjusted by the cutting plane path. An independent claim is also included for a device for cutting a bone-containing commodity strand in disk.
