[origin: EP2322352A1] The device (14) has a hollow space connected with an opening (26), so that low pressure is produced at the opening to hold plastic parts (12) i.e. plastic cards. A support structure (24) has a lateral guide element (30) that is in contact with a transport belt (20) in a contact area (32). The guide element is formed in such a manner that motion of the belt is reduced in a side direction (34) transverse to a transport direction (22). The guide element comprises a screw spring (36) that pretensions the guide element against the belt at the contact area in a pressing direction (38).
