[origin: EP2322441A1] The container has a base body i.e. injection molded plastic part, comprising a projecting upper edge (206) and a lower edge at corner regions (100) of the body. A hollow chamber profile (110) made of plastic is attached to the base body between upper and lower edges in a material-fit manner. The upper edge forms a stacked surface, and base-shaped stacked elements are arranged at the lower edge of the base body. The profile is made of same plastic as the base body or compatible plastic. A radio frequency identification chip is arranged in the profile, where the container is made of plastic. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system comprising a stackable plastic transport and storage container (2) a method for manufacturing a plastic transport and storage container.
