The device has a lower hinge plate (4) whose rolling unit is equipped with a radial bearing unit (12) to support radial loads and an axial bearing unit (14) to support axial loads. The radial and axial bearing units authorize coaxiality angular defects of a fixed hinge plate (6) with respect to a movable hinge part (8) of the lower hinge plate. A rolling unit of an upper hinge plate is equipped with another radial bearing unit to support the radial loads. A lower fulcrum pin (10) of the lower hinge plate is placed in a lower hub (8'). An independent claim is also included for a heavy door, comprising a door leaf.

La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de paumelle à montage oscillant destiné à équiper une porte très lourde constituée par au moins un battant ou vantail monté pivotant sur un dormant, comprenant au moins une paumelle inférieure (4) destinée notamment à supporter au moins l'essentiel de la charge du battant de ladite porte et au moins une paumelle supérieure destinée notamment à former un point de maintien anti-basculement et de guidage axial dudit battant, chaque dite paumelle inférieure (4), respectivement supérieure, d'une part, étant constituée par une partie de paumelle fixe (6) solidaire du dormant et par une partie de paumelle mobile (8), respectivement, solidaire du battant et, d'autre part, comprenant un axe de pivotement (10) solidaire dudit dormant ou, le cas échéant, du battant, permettant le guidage en rotation de la partie de paumelle mobile (8) par rapport à la partie de paumelle fixe (6) autour dudit axe de pivotement (10), ce par interposition de moyens de roulement (12, 14) aptes à autoriser un défaut angulaire de coaxialité (a) de la partie de paumelle fixe (6) par rapport à la partie de paumelle mobile (8) de chaque dite paumelle inférieure (4) et/ou paumelle supérieure.
