[origin: WO2010003652A1] The invention describes an inking unit of a printing machine which comprises an impression cylinder for guiding the printing material as well as at least one ink transfer roller, which comprises a cylinder pin on which at least one cylinder sleeve is concentrically movable, and bearing blocks, in which the ends of the transfer roller are mounted and which are movable independently of one another in the radial direction of the impression cylinder. The transfer roller can be thrown onto the impression cylinder or another ink transfer roller, wherein a bearing block can be released from one end of the ink transfer roller and moved in relation to the ink transfer roller such that the at least one cylinder sleeve can be pulled off over this end. A stop device with which the cylinder sleeve can be brought into contact is provided, component parts of the stop device being movable in the axial direction of the printing roller. The component parts of the stop device can be slowed down during a movement by means of a force-providing means.
