[origin: WO2010018527A1] It is provided a cover for a container having internal volume and an opening. The cover includes a sealing member for sealed closing of the opening, a gas cell containing compressed gas, and a gas channel mechanism adapted for constituting a gas channel between the gas cell and the internal volume. The gas cell is coupled to the sealing member. Initially, the gas cell has compressed gas therein, and upon constituting of the gas channel the compressed gas penetrates the internal volume, and pushes the cover outwardly, thus facilitating opening of the container. The container may be a wine bottle and the sealing member may be a cork. The cover may include safety means to prevent accidental activation of the gas channel mechanism.
