[origin: WO2010015500A1] An ignition laser for an internal combustion engine is proposed in which the combustion chamber window (58) is connected to a housing (38) of the ignition laser in a manner that is resistant to gas, pressure and temperature. Moreover, a pressure relief hole (67) is provided which effectively prevents a pressure increase in the housing (38) of the ignition laser.
