Abstract (en)
The chain has a series of chain links carrying cutting tools (5A-5K). The cutting tools are arranged in a manner to generate a cutting face (6) in a rock, where a portion of the cutting face is concave. Length of the concave portion of the cutting face is higher than 25 percent of total length of the cutting face. The cutting tools are mounted on a tool holder whose profile matches with a profile of the cutting face. The cutting tools are located outside of axial plane of the chain.
