Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2325120A1] The device has a die (16) cooperating with transport rollers (12) for separating mailpieces one by one from a stack of mailpieces. The transport rollers drive the mailpieces towards downstream. The die has adjacent selection fingers (20A, 22A, 24A, 24D) formed with different lengths. The selection fingers pivot independent from each other around a common rotational axle (26) and against associated elastic return units i.e. tension springs (28).
