The terminal (10) has a clamping device provided for clamping a massive wire and a strand type wire, which are guided into a wire insertion opening (20) of a housing. An actuation device (32) co-acts with the clamping device for actuation of the clamping device. The clamping device has a contact area (26), which is tapered into an insertion direction (62) of the wires, where a portion of limitation of the contact area is formed by a contact element (42), which co-acts with the actuation device in an indirect manner and is designed in a spring elastic manner.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anschlussklemme (10) zum elektrischen Anschluss von Leitern, mit einem Gehäuse (12), mit mindestens einer in dem Gehäuse angeordneten Klemmeinrichtung (25) zum Einklemmen eines Leiters, welcher in mindestens eine Leitereinführungsöffnung (20) des Gehäuses (12) einführbar oder eingeführt ist, und mit mindestens einer mit der Klemmeinrichtung (25) zusammenwirkenden Betätigungseinrichtung (32) zur Betätigung der Klemmeinrichtung (25), wobei die Klemmeinrichtung (25) einen sich in Einführrichtung (62) des Leiters verjüngenden Kontaktbereich (26) aufweist, wobei zumindest ein Teil der Begrenzung des Kontaktbereichs (26) von einem mit der Betätigungseinrichtung (32) zumindest mittelbar zusammenwirkenden Kontaktelement (42) gebildet ist.
