[origin: WO2010018089A1] The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising a housing (10) and a dust chamber (11) disposed in the housing (10) for accommodating a dust collection container, wherein the housing (10) comprises an air inlet opening (13) and an air outlet opening (14) for an air stream (22), wherein a first border wall (15) of the dust chamber (11) is associated with the air outlet opening (14). It is proposed that an insert part (17) with flow guide ribs (18, 19, 20) is disposed at at least one of the other border walls (16) of the dust chamber (11), said ribs guiding the incoming air stream (22) in a targeted manner from the air inlet opening (13) to the air outlet opening (14). The invention further relates to vacuum cleaners comprising base ribs (36, 37) that are designed similarly to the flow guide ribs (18, 19, 20) of the insert part (17).
