Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010029257A1] The present invention relates to a method for simulating gunshots during an urban area combat training simulation. The gunshot simulator (40) emits a first laser shot and a second radioelectric wave shot, or vice versa. Said two shots can be emitted simultaneously or consecutively. Laser target devices (60), located in an environment for the target that detected the laser shot, are considered to be hit. Radio target devices (50), located in an environment of the target that detected the radioelectric wave shot, emit shot detection signaling towards a discriminating member (90) capable of identifying and selecting, on the basis of predefined discrimination criteria, the device most likely to have been hit by said shot from among the devices that detected the radioelectric wave.
