Abstract (en)
The beam has an interface provided connection of an extension (3) for increasing total width of the beam, where the interface faces an outer area. A seal and/or a seal arrangement i.e. seal cushion, seals an intermediate space between a lower edge of a wing of a window or a door and the beam in a closed condition of the window or door. An adapter (2) is connectable to the interface. The adapter is designed as a separate connecting unit, which detachably/fixedly interconnects the beam and the extension, where the beam, the adapter and the extension are formed from aluminum.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bodenschwelle für ein Fenster oder eine Tür, wobei die Bodenschwelle einen Innenbereich von einem Außenbereich oder zwei Räume voneinander trennt und die Bodenschwelle den Zwischenraum zwischen der Unterkante des Flügels des Fensters oder der Tür und der Bodenschwelle im geschlossenen Zustand des Fensters oder der Tür im Zusammenwirken mit wenigstens einer Dichtung beziehungsweise Dichtungsanordnung abdichtet. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass an der Bodenschwelle, zumindest zum Außenbereich zugewandt, wenigstens eine erste Schnittstelle zum Anschluss wenigstens eines Ergänzungselementes vorgesehen ist.
