The unit has a border section (2) arranged at an edge of an insulated glass element (1) i.e. vacuum insulated glass element, and mounting the glass element at a support element. The section is connected with glass element by a sealing mass (7). The section is made of plastic with a soft core (12) and a hard outer shell (11). The core is made of light-weight polyurethane foam with heat conductivity of 0.025 Watt per meter square Kelvin. The outer shell is made of polyurethane mixture with a heat conductivity of 0.6 Watt per meter square Kelvin and a shore hardness larger relative to the core.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Isolierglaseinheit mit einem Isolierglaselement (1), wobei an dem Rand des Isolierglaselements (1) ein mit diesem verbundenes Einfassprofil (2) zur Montage des Isolierglaselements (1) an einem Tragelement (3; 31) angeordnet ist. Das Einfassprofil (2) besteht aus Kunststoff mit einem weichen Kern aus einem leichten Polyurethanschaum mit einer Wärmeleitfähigkeit von » = 0,02 bis 0,06 W/m 2 K, bevorzugt 0,025 W/m 2 K (12), und einer härteren Außenhaut (11) aus einer Polyurethanmischung mit einer gegenüber dem Kern (12) größeren Shorehärte und einer Wärmeleitfähigkeit von » = 0,2 bis 0,6 W/m 2 K.
