Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2327952A1] The warhead (1) has a front charge (2) located at a distance from a rear charge (3). An intercharge protection unit (6) is interposed between the charges, and has a metallic screen (8) arranged between the charges. The screen is connected to a cylindrical case (3c) of the rear charge by a controlled deformation connecting unit. The connection unit has a thin cylindrical zone (9) covering the case of the rear charge. The protection unit has another metallic screen interposed between the front charge and the former screen. A layer made of deformable material is interposed between the screens.
