[origin: WO2010012420A1] The invention relates to a conveying drum (10) in the tobacco-processing industry, comprising receptacles (16, 18; 52, 54) for, in particular rod-shaped, articles (20) of the tobacco-processing industry. The conveying drum according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that two different types of receptacles (16, 18; 52, 54) are provided, wherein each type of receptacle (16, 18; 52, 54) is tailored to at least one predetermined geometric parameter, in particular diameter, of the articles (20) which are conveyed or are to be conveyed on the conveying drum (10), with the result that two different articles each having different geometric parameters can be conveyed on the conveying drum (10).
