[origin: WO2010031660A1] The invention relates to a composite tooth for working the ground or rock, said tooth comprising a ferroalloy which is at least partially reinforced with titanium carbide in a defined shape, said reinforced part comprising an alternate macro-microstructure of millimetric areas concentrated with micrometric globular particles of titanium carbide, which are separated by millimetric areas essentially free of micrometric globular particles of titanium carbide, the areas concentrated with micrometric globular particles of titanium carbide forming a microstructure wherein the micrometric gaps between the globular particles are also filled by the ferroalloy.
