[origin: WO2010031628A1] A fuel injection valve (1), which is designed in particular as an injector for fuel injection systems of air-compressing, auto-ignition internal combustion engines, comprises a housing part (5), an actuating element (2) disposed in the housing part (5), a nozzle body (6), and a nozzle pin (3). In a connecting region (12), the nozzle body (6) is connected to the housing part (5) by way of a nozzle tensioning nut (7). The nozzle needle (3) is disposed in part in a bore (10) of the housing part (5) and in part in a bore (11) of the nozzle body (6). The housing part (5) and the nozzle body (6) engage in each other in the connecting region (12), wherein between the housing part (5) and the nozzle body (6) a seal is formed, to which high pressure (P) present in the connecting region (12) in the bore (10) of the housing part (5) and/or in the bore (11) of the nozzle body (6) is radially applied. In this way, a reliable seal is formed, which is self-energizing.
