Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2010023013A1] The invention relates to a device main switch for electric machine tools, particularly electric hand tools, with a rocker switch and an electric switch element. The rocker switch comprises at least two switch positions along a first actuating direction. The electric switch element comprises a switch housing and an actuating device with a moveable actuating element. The electric switch element comprises a longitudinal extension that is aligned at an angle, particularly perpendicular to the first actuating direction. With the device main switch according to the invention the moveable actuating element comprises a second actuating direction that is oriented parallel to the longitudinal extension of the electric switch element.
