Abstract (en)
The method involves melting hot melt glue (2), and forming the melted glue to a hot melt glue line (3) that is cooled to surface temperature below a melting point of the glue. The hot melt glue line is passed through a wax electrolyte (4) with a melted wax (5), and the hot melt glue line is pulled out and adhered to a surface of the melted wax of the wax electrolyte under the formation of another hot melt glue line (1) that is enclosed with the wax. The latter hot melt glue line enclosed with the melted wax is cooled to a temperature that lies under the melting point of the wax. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a packaging comprising a container (2) a method for applying hot melt glue.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines mit Wachs umhüllten Heissschmelzklebstoffstranges. Nach Aufschmelzen eines Heissschmelzklebstoffes wird der geschmolzene Heissschmelzklebstoff zu einem Heissschmelzklebstoffstrang geformt, abgekühlt auf dessen Oberflächentemperatur unterhalb des Schmelzpunktes des Heissschmelzklebstoffes, durch ein durch ein Wachsbad mit geschmolzenem Wachs gezogen und auf eine Temperatur, die unter dem Schmelzpunkt des Wachses liegt, abgekühlt. Mittels dieses Verfahrens wird auf einfache Art und Weise ein mit Wachs umhüllter Heissschmelzklebstoffstrang, dessen Wachsumhüllung dicht und von konstanter Qualität ist, hergestellt.
