Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2330272A2] The profile (1) has engagement parts (8, 9) elastically formed at a frame (2, 3) or insulating frame part (4). Ends, which are facing freely from the frame part, of the parts are connected with connecting bars (10, 11), and form a snap connection with opposite engagement parts (6, 7). An elastic or viscous material (15) with less than 70 Mooney is pressed on the latter parts in an engagement direction. The material is formed from an elastic or viscous adhesive in form of adhesive bead, in a hardened condition, where the bead is supported at a support surface (8') of the latter parts. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a frame profile.
