Abstract (en)
The element (1) has a housing (2) including lateral walls (2a, 2b) integrated to a bottom wall (3) positioned on a mobile structure (8) i.e. vehicle. Armor plating modules (6) are mounted on tabs (11) secured to the lateral walls. The modules are individually inserted or removed from the housing through a front opening (10). The modules are arranged opposite to the bottom wall. A stop unit i.e. screw (13), ensures maintenance of each module with respect to the lateral walls when placed between the lateral walls. The modules are separated by a dampening material layer. The armor plating modules are separated by a layer made of a dampening material such as honeycomb material.

L'invention a pour objet un élément de blindage (1) pour une structure (8) comprenant un boîtier (2) solidaire de la structure (8) et renfermant au moins deux modules de blindage (6) passifs ou réactifs, séparés par une couche de matériau amortisseur (7), le boîtier comprenant deux parois latérales fixes (2a,2b) parallèles l'une à l'autre et solidaires d'une paroi de fond (3) destinée à être positionnée sur la structure (8). Cet élément de blindage (1) est caractérisé en ce que les modules de blindage (6) sont montés coulissants sur des glissières (11) solidaires des parois latérales (2a,2b) du boîtier. L'invention peut être appliquée à la protection des véhicules militaires.
