[origin: EP2333177A1] The pre-compressed sealing tape has elastically resilient foam strips (2) that are extended in longitudinal direction than in transverse direction. The foam strips have two side surfaces (6) and two cross surfaces (8,9) that are connected with the side surfaces. A strip-shaped element (10) is formed from foam material and has a high bending strength than the foam strips.
