Abstract (en)
A method of drafting a prestressed concrete structure comprises the steps of: a) modeling the problem of finding optimum parameters of prestressing strands in the prestressed concrete structure in a mathematical optimization problem; and b) using a preferably gradient-based numerical search method to solve the mathematical optimization problem.
