[origin: EP2333195A1] The floor assembly has multiple rectangular, plate-shaped floor assembly panels (10.1,10.2) which have a wear layer (5), a base layer (3) and a core layer (2) made of wood material. The core layer lies between the wear layer and the base layer. A mechanical locking unit is a profile (85) that has a locking lug (83) and runs in the installed condition along the side surface of one of the floor assembly panels. An independent claim is also included for a method for laying the floor assembly panels.
