Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2333802A2] The unit (1) has a sensor connected to an electrically controllable sensor circuit (3) for contact-free identity- and position determination. The sensor is connected with a configuration module (12) e.g. radio frequency (RF) or function module, for adjusting its system parameter to input requirements of a central evaluation unit. The sensor is arranged in a sensor module (2), and the configuration module is designed as a separate module connectable with the sensor module. Components for adjusting an electric parameter of the sensor circuit are arranged in the configuration module. The sensor is formed as reed relay, Hall sensor or anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR)/giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor or is designed based on radio frequency identification (RFID).
