[origin: WO2010025803A2] The invention relates to a lawn trimmer having a cutting head (2), a guide handle (3), and a hinge arrangement (4), comprising a first (40) and a second axis (44), wherein the cutting head (2) can be pivoted relative to the guide handle (3) about the first axis (40) between at least one first and one second tilt position and the cutting head (2) can be pivoted relative to the guide handle (3) about the second axis (44) between an edge cutting position and a trimming position, and the hinge arrangement (4) comprises pivot-locking means by which pivoting of the cutting head (2) about the second axis (44) between the trimming position and the edge cutting position is blocked in the first tilt position, and/or by which pivoting of the cutting head (2) about the first axis (40) is blocked in the edge cutting position.
