[origin: EP2335523A1] The apparatus has a cutting element (5) connected to a rotary base body (14), and a fixing element with the cutting element that is separated from fixing material (4) during rotation of the base body. A molding unit forms the fixing element at a molded fixing element (8), and a molding element (7) is connected to the base body. The fixing element is deformed by impact of the molding element during the rotation of the base body, where the cutting element and the molding element are firmly connected to the base body, and are moved non relative to the base body. An independent claim is also included for a method for stuffing a brush bundle in a brush body.
